Boston Forces Mavericks to Game 3 at Home

In a thrilling Game 2 of the 2024 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics have taken a commanding 2-0 lead after defeating the Dallas Mavericks 105-98 at TD Garden. The Celtics have now won all six of their road games in the playoffs, putting pressure on the Mavericks to defend their home court in Game 3.

The Mavericks will now host Game 3 at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday, with the Celtics looking to extend their lead to 3-0. If Dallas can win, they will have a chance to tie the series when Game 4 is played in Dallas on Friday.

In Game 2, the Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who scored 29 points, and Jaylen Brown, who added 22. Luka Dončić led the Mavericks with 21 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Celtics' balanced attack.
